Shelley Vollans

Shelley is the Founder and Team Captain of Off Kilter, without this incredible lady none of this would be possible! Shelley has had horses in her life ever since she was a little girl and she grew up in a farming family. Shelley was heavily involved in horse-showing for many years and also The Canadian Cowgirls! Shelley has learned under many clinicians and equine performers like Tommie Turvey, Miss Mary Rivers, Jeff Damphouse, and more! Shelley trains all of our riders, coaches them through training the horses and plays a big role in the organization of the show. Shelley and her riders of Off Kilter Equine Entertainment, are very excited to meet you all along the trail! 


Brittnee Vollans- Brett

Brittnee began her love of the equine performance world at a young age. She competed in barrel racing, pole bending, and other gaming events at local shows when she was a little girl on her best friend “Rocky” who was a Shetland Pony!

At the Age of 14 Brittnee decided she wanted to try her hand at performing and joined the Canadian Cowgirls Precision Drill Team where she learned the art of drill and trick riding! (Fun fact: Brittnee was one of the original trick riders alongside her friends with the Cowgirls!)

During her time with the Canadian Cowgirls, Brittnee had the honour of working with, training under, and learning from some of the world’s most Well- known and respected equestrian performers such as; The Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls, Tom Bishop, Tommie Turvey, Miss Mary Rivers, Denny Chapman, Rick Wheat, Eric Martonovich, Laura Mendez, and Sally Bishop!

Brittnee has travelled across the country with her best friend and equine partner Bayou, a Bay Roan Percheron Quarterhorse gelding, at places and events such as; Equine Affaire Fantasia Show in both Massachusetts and Ohio, Pennsylvania Horse Expo, The Calgary Stampede, Nova Scotia, and California!!

Brittnee is a founding member of Off Kilter Equine Entertainment, travels the RAM Rodeo Tour and is a cast member and performer of the HorsePower Live show, produced by the Ross Millar Group.

Brittnee and Bayou absolutely love showing off their talents in the trick riding arena and are very excited to meet you all down the trail!


Jennifer Semperger

Jennifer has been a performer her entire life from competitive dancing as a little girl into her teenage years to performing the “thrill of drill” with the Canadian Cowgirls!

Jennifer has performed across the country showing off synchronized maneuvers with a group of horses at events from the Calgary Stampede to the Equine Affaire Fantasia shows in Massachusetts and Ohio!

Jennifer is a founding member of Off Kilter and although she does enjoy playing with trick riding, her heart lies in the art of drill. Jennifer loves being a cast member of HorsePower Live and enjoys entertaining and educating children about the magical world of horses.

Jennifer has learned under many respected equestrian performers and trainers such as Jeff Damphouse, Rick Wheat and Cynthia Royale and enjoys taking their practices into her own hands with her horses at home as well as other trainer’s methods such as; Tommie Turvey, Clinton Anderson, Carole Fletcher and many more!

Jennifer is excited to bring her young Palomino Quarterhorse Mare, Neytiri, along the trail to meet and perform for all of you!


Noah Vollans

Noah Vollans has been riding since the young age of 5. When he was 9, Noah took on Trick Riding and Trick Roping and at the age of 11, Noah began the art of Whip Cracking. Previously Noah has performed at many local venues and has performed at many well known events such as the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Toyota Rodeo in Toronto Ontario. Noah has performed with the Ram Rodeo Tour and enjoys the incredible energy from the crowd. Noah, alongside his sisters, is a founding member of Off Kilter Equine Entertainment and enjoys being the whip cracking coach. Noah has worked with the amazing Jerry Diaz and Tom Bishop who helped him excel in his crafts. Noah has recently begun studying the art of liberty and admires Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship. In 2018, Noah had the opportunity to speak with Dan and learn many key concepts in working with a young horse. Noah’s favourite things to do in his spare time are make beautiful whips (some himself and his team use in performances) as well as working with his young horses, helping them grow and learn to be the best they can possibly be! Keep an eye out for this cowboy  this year!


Mackenzie Vollans

Mackenzie is a coach, and founding member of Off Kilter Equine Entertainment. She has been performing the entirety of her life! From dancing tap, jazz and ballet at a young age to showing her pony! Mackenzie began trick riding at the age of 9 and trick roping at the age of 11, when she was 7 she got her trick riding horse, Aztec and now has taken on the art of Roman Riding on her horses Aztec and Dyami! Mackenzie has worked with many professional horsemen and women such as Tommie Turvey, Jerry Diaz, Tom Bishop Sr., The Canadian Cowgirls, Brinson James, and many more! Mackenzie has performed alongside Spencer Elizabeth Rose of the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls, and shared the arena with well known performers like Bobby Kerr, Austin Anderson, Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship and more! Mackenzie’s heart lies in the rodeo arena and she travels with Off Kilter and the RAM Rodeo Tour, Mackenzie is also a cast member of HorsePower Live, produced by Ross Millar, an entertaining and educational family- friendly show. Mackenzie has performed at well known equine events such as the Equine Affaire Fantasia Show in Springfield Massachusetts, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, and the CanAm All Breeds Equine Extravaganza Show, she has also had the honour to share the performance arena with CBC Heartland’s Amber Marshall and Alisha Newton. When Mackenzie is not hanging off the side of her horse, or swinging her loop, she enjoys working with young project horses at home, and teaching riding lessons to new and upcoming Off Kilter performers! 


Megan Rayment

Megan has been a member of Off Kilter since 2013! Ever since she was a little girl Megan has always loved the Circus themed talents such as silks and hoops and has taken on these challenging arts herself! Megan uses her talents beautifully as she flies around the arena on her Chestnut Quarterhorse gelding Aramis, who is just learning the ropes of becoming an amazing Trick Riding horse!

Megan is also a cast member of the HorsePower Live show and travels the RAM Rodeo Tour all summer long with Off Kilter trick riding and performing for audiences all across the province!

Megan has had the honour of training under Austin Anderson of the Texas Trick Riders, Jerry and Staci Diaz, and different clinicians at events such as Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship! Megan has performed at the CanAm Equine Expo, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and Rodeo events in Texas during her time with the Texas Trick Riders! Megan has just recently begun learning the art of trick roping and cannot wait to show off her tricks!


Janay Gillard

Janay has been taking riding lessons almost her entire life and has grown in leaps and bounds! Janay has just been introduced into the performance world and her dream is to one day become a trick rider! Janay enjoys drill and games (you might have even seen her as our Pixie in the HorsePower Live show!)

In her first year as a performer she has performed at the CanAm All Breeds Equine Show, and has even worked hard through three long weeks in Toronto here at HorsePower Live!

Janay has just recently begun learning the art of trick roping and she is so excited to one day be adding it into her performances to show all of you! (And soon enough she’ll be hanging out of the saddle too!)


Kaya Snowden

Kaya lived in the city until the age of 9 when she moved to the country with her grandma and her passion for horses began! Kaya got her first pony named Shadow in May 2017 who taught her bonding & balance until she attended her first Pony Camp at Westview Stables in Durham ON and immediately started lessons under the guidance of Ashton Paylor-Mallard for Gaming the very next week! Kaya had her first show season in 2018 Earning Reserve Champion for her division with a local riding club RBR (Rather Be Riding) out of Teeswater ON. In the same  year she also won Junior Grand Champion at Markdale Fall Fair and was in the ribbons at other fall fairs as well! Kaya was inspired by CBCs Heartland and had the opportunity to speak to Amber Marshall during a Q&A! Kaya had the opportunity to meet Mackenzie Vollans of Off Kilter Equine Entertainment and The Canadian Cowgirls at Can Am 2018! During her off season, Kaya enjoys Team Penning, learning the art of Trick Riding with her Appaloosa/Percheron gelding Chip as well as starting Ponies & Trail Riding with family & friends! Kaya was extremely excited to be asked to join Off Kilter and looks forward to continuing gaming, hoping one day to compete on the RAM Rodeo Tour circuit. Kaya aspires to become part of the Drilling & Trick Riding like her idols and cannot wait to join us this year!


Pippa James

Pippa is very excited to be joining Off Kilter for next year’s performances. You will see this mighty little girl playing the Pixie in our HorsePower Live show! Pippa started her horse adventures at the ripe age of 3. Riding Milkah, Midnight, and Aramis Pippa has grown into quite the horse girl. She loves speed and has dabbled with a few tricks on her favourite trick riding horse Aramis! Her favourite event right now is the pick-up race (hey, maybe she might compete in the rodeo!!) Pippa can’t wait to start traveling with the team and adding to her acts and list of horse’s she loves.


Lily Semperger’

Lily has been a member of Off Kilter since the day she was born!! (Pretty cool!) Lily has rode in parades with us on her little Miniature horse named Pablo! Lily has performed trick roping in local shows as well as the CanAm All Breeds Equine Show! Lily has also been to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Rodeo and has just recently been wanting to expand her acts and has begun learning Trick Riding and drill! Lily’s favourite trick is the “Reverse Fender” or the “Apaché Hideaway” And she cannot wait to one day perform it for all of you! Next year, Lily will be performing some of her favourite rope tricks in the HorsePower Live show and she cannot wait to meet everyone!


Ali Rourke

Ali has been riding since a very young age and enjoys long trail rides with her friends! Ali is very excited to be joining us this year as she learns the ropes of Drill and Trick Riding! Ali’s favourite pastime is working young horses and ponies alongside her friend Kaya and she is so excited to get to meet all of you along the performance trail!


Jocelyn LeBoeuf 
Jocelyn has been riding since a very young age, Jocelyn spent most of her riding career competing in local shows doing events such as western pleasure, halter classes and showing off her love in horsemanship. Jocelyn joined Off Kilter Equine Entertainment in 2010 and is one of our founding trick riders and trick ropers. Jocelyn’s equine partner is a 8 year old gelding named General Lee! 


The Kiss Family 
Jen and Steve Kiss, along with their two daughters Sheaden and Shelby like to lend us a helping hand in parades, hometown performances, and local fundraisers whenever they can. They have two horses that join us on the road, Levi who is a 15.2’’ bay Percheron Quarterhorse gelding, and Charlie who is a Cremello Miniature horse! Levi and Charlie both enjoys joining us in parades and Levi even occasionally performs drill with us! When they are not with us they are competing in Western dressage and Extreme Cowboy!
